FOUR QUESTIONS FOR TOMORROW

Artist’s book, 2023. Laser cut folder containing four cards (riso with handset letterpress).

Chipboard, oil-based ink on paper.

These are questions about the climate crisis that I would continually like to defer to tomorrow.

THREADS

Artist’s book, handbound, 2023.

Book cloth, chipboard, wood glue, nylon thread, cotton thread, paper, Letraset transfers.

I wanted to see how small of a book I could make, and I also wanted to play with Letraset transfers I found at my local creative reuse center.

ENCLOSURE

Artist’s book, handbound with machine stitching, 2024.

Book cloth, chipboard, wood glue, paper, nylon thread, cotton thread, assorted ephemera (ribbons, cording, letterpress scraps).

I challenged myself to make a new book in one hour. I went slightly over time, but I am still happy with the result.

VISUAL MIGRAINE

Artist’s book, accordion folded with handset letterpress and machine stitching, 2024.

Oil-based ink on paper, wood glue, nylon thread.

I suffer from chronic migraines and I made this book to represent that day’s migraine.
